MEET THE OWNER

Hello! I am Richelle Norman, the new owner of TRAINE at Seaboard Station, but I am not new to this gorgeous venue. I have managed this space and hosted hundreds of epic weddings and events since 2019. I have loved creating lasting memories for each guest who comes to TRAINE for their big event. I truly cannot wait to meet you and hear about what you have planned!

the history

Nestled in the historic Seaboard Railroad Station in Downtown Raleigh, TRAINE is a premier event venue that can host up to 270 guests for weddings and special events. We are committed to preserving one of the last landmark historic buildings in Seaboard Station as we embrace the new $700M luxury development next door with dining, shopping, hotel accommodations and more!

Built in the early 1900s as the original Railway Express operation in Raleigh, this building features original brick walls, boasts wood timber beams and is surrounded by historic charm in a neighborhood next to William Peace University. We cannot wait to share this piece of Raleigh history with you on a tour or at an upcoming event at TRAINE!
