Hi! I’m Ariana Dolan, a wedding coordinator who ensures your wedding day runs smoothly from start to finish.

Throughout the years, I’ve had the privilege of coordinating weddings of all styles and sizes—from grand cathedral ceremonies to thoughtfully designed backyard celebrations. Each event is unique, and I take pride in creating a seamless, well-executed experience tailored to every couple.

Based in Durham, North Carolina, I live with my husband and four children. I also serve on the wedding committee for Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Parish, where I coordinate ceremonies at both Sacred Heart Cathedral and Holy Name of Jesus Cathedral in Raleigh.

Behind the scenes, I manage logistics, timelines, and vendor coordination with precision—so you can stay fully present and enjoy every moment of your wedding day.

I Do Weddings by Michele was created with one purpose—making your wedding day as seamless, joyful, and memorable as possible. Planning is Michele’s passion, and she believes there’s no event more special to design than a wedding. From the big picture to the tiniest details, she ensures every element reflects your love story.

Your wedding day is just the start of your life together. While you focus on building your future as a couple, Michele takes care of the planning and coordination—so you can truly enjoy the celebration.

Best friends since high school (yes, really!), Trent and Ashley have spent the last two decades doing life side by side. From college roommates to business partners, they’ve always balanced each other perfectly - Trent bringing the big energy and natural people manager gift, and Ashley bringing the detail-loving mind and expert project manager organization.
Since launching in 2017, they’ve planned and designed over 500 weddings and events, while growing a trusted team of planners who share their passion for seamless coordination, thoughtful design, and joy-filled celebrations.

Nearly a decade later, they’re still best friends, still bringing their opposite strengths to the table, and still loving every chance they get to help people celebrate life’s biggest moments

Moonshine Micro Weddings exists to throw a wrench in the wedding industry, specifically the part of it that insists your day has to look a certain way, cost a certain amount, and feel like a performance.

The name carries two meanings: moonshine the craft — handmade, independent, a little rebellious — and moonshine the light — the romance of the moon guiding our design sensibility. Heartfelt, handcrafted, and a little rebellious is our whole motto.

Why I love planning weddings:

A successful wedding is a perfect orchestration of so many moving parts, and I love the challenge of planning and coordinating everything!  It’s incredibly satisfying to see months (or years) of planning and preparation come together to make one unforgettable day.  Most of all, I love that I can take the burden off the couple so they can enjoy their engagement, stay sane during the planning process, and be stress-free on their wedding day!
